Altar Servers: Altar Servers are adults, girls, and boys (grade 5 and up) who assist the celebrant at the altar throughout the week during ceremonies such as the celebration of Masses, weddings, and funerals.  Training is provided for those interested.

Boy Scouts: The Boy Scouts of America strive to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.  The Boy Scouts offer programs for grade 1 (Tigers), grade 2 (Wolves), grade 3 (Bears), grades 4-5 (Webelos), and grade 6 to age 18 (Boy Scouts).  The scouting program stresses the importance of morals and ethics, and helps the boys learn the value of service, volunteerism, and duty to God.  Many boys earn their religious emblems.  The scouts help the parish at the annual Parish Festival, and staff the coffee and donut table after Sunday morning Masses once a month.  The Boy Scouts of America is a non-profit organization, and the local programs are directed by adult volunteers.  Meetings are held at various locations, including St. Justin Martyr Parish.  For more information, call the Orange County Council of Boy Scouts of America at 714-546-4990.  http://www.ocbsa.org/

Girl Scouts:  The Girl Scouts promote self-esteem, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility, while introducing girls to new friends and experiences.  The Girl Scout Council of Orange County is a non-profit organization offering an informal education program for girls ages 5-17.  There are also numerous volunteer opportunities for women and men.  Meetings are held at various locations, including St. Justin Martyr Parish.  For more information, call the Girl Scout Council of Orange County at 714-979-7900 (English) or 714-979-3339 (Spanish).  http://www.gscoc.org/
